Job Location – Marple Bridge, Stockport, Cheshire.
Job Specification– Supply and fit a sliding gate (to suit customers required style) and install a suitable gate automation system for added security and convenience.
Operating System– The gate is operated via remote control transmitters & a GSM intercom system. This means the gate can be opened and closed by dialing into the dial-to-open facility on the intercom system which has all the customers pre-set telephone numbers programmed. If a visitor calls the intercom, it will call the homeowners landline and if there is no answer, it will divert to their mobile telephone and allow them to operate the gate by pressing a number on their handsets keypad.
The new automation system has a duty cycle of 99%, meaning the automation is capable of operating almost continually without overheating.
Regulations and Health & Safety– The gate has built in obstacle detection and a set of safety photocells fitted across the opening. All trap, drag and crushing hazards have been covered as required by the regulations set by the HSE.
This system fully complies with all current BS EN standards set by the Health & Safety executive.
