Job Specification – To supply and fit a suitable replacement automation kit due to the existing system being damaged by high winds. The automation system that was previously fitted was of poor quality and did not meet the requirements of the customer or application.
We fitted steel strengthening plates to the rendered pillars to allow a secure fixing of the brackets for the new motor arms and then replace the equipment with a Beninca Bill.50 kit.
The new automation kit fitted is over specified for the size of gates to help compensate for the high wind factor in the area.
The new system is now covered by a minimum of a two year warranty.
Job Location – Offerton, Stockport, Cheshire.
Operating System– The gate system is operated by remote control transmitters only.
The new automation system has a duty cycle of 99%, meaning the automation is capable of operating almost continually without overheating.
Regulations and Health & Safety– The gate has built in obstacle detection and one set of safety photocells fitted across the opening. All trap, drag and crushing hazards have been tested to make sure the force pressure meets current regulations.
